FASCIAL STRETCH THERAPY
What is Fascial Stretch Therapy?
Fascial Stretch Therapy is a hands-on modality that treats the fascial lines that connect through and wrap around your muscles, nerves, organs, and many other parts of your body. It’s more dynamic than static stretching, and it improves muscle functioning and flexibility.
More Information
At Movement Health, Fascial Stretch Therapy is recommended if your health and/or mobility are being compromised by issues related to tension created along the fascial lines of the body. Whether you’re looking for relief from tightness in your body or simply want to boost your recovery time and/or prevent injury, we work with you to create a Fascial Stretch Therapy care plan that will help you reach and/or maintain your health and mobility goals.
Your Fascial Stretch Therapy care plan can include follow-up visits, as well as referrals to other healthcare professionals. Whenever possible, the Movement Health team will work with your other healthcare providers to enhance the effectiveness of treatments that you’re receiving outside of our clinic.
WHAT TO EXPECT
During a Fascial Stretch Therapy treatment, one of our qualified and experienced team members will manually stretch your body using their hands and other props specifically designed for this purpose. Your therapist will check in regularly with you to ensure that they are stretching you in a way that is effective without being too uncomfortable.
